Join us at Wao Green Drinks for an eye-opening conversation about how the everyday design of our homes and communities—like driveways, footpaths, and building sites—can either pollute or protect our precious waterways. Hear from experts at Stormwater360, pioneers in sustainable stormwater management, and Morphum Environmental, environmental engineers and sustainable project planners. WAI Wānaka, champions of local freshwater protection, will also help guide the conversation as they explore practical ways we can all treasure stormwater, reduce pollutants in runoff and enhance connection to nature in urban spaces. Held at Verve Wānaka, where the team has proudly "adopted a drain" right outside their bar as part of WAI Wānaka’s community campaign, this event brings together science, solutions, and local action over a drink. Let’s talk about how we can all design for cleaner water, thriving biodiversity and climate resilience.
