Grow Wānaka is hosting a Winter Herbal Remedy Making Workshop with Loran Verpillot from Herbal Culture.

Join local herbalist Loran for a hands on, seasonal workshop focused on making simple yet powerful herbal remedies. Hosted by Grow Wānaka, the workshop begins with a tour of the community garden where Loran will introduce a range of medicinal plants and kitchen herbs, exploring their traditional uses and how they can support the body through the winter months.

Participants will harvest roots from plants growing in the garden and learn how to prepare them into a herbal vinegar. They will also chop fresh herbs to infuse into honey, creating a remedy that is especially helpful during the cold and flu season.

This practical workshop offers an opportunity to learn about bush and kitchen herbs, their medicinal properties, and simple ways to prepare remedies at home. Participants will leave with handmade remedies to take home and a deeper understanding of how to use herbs as everyday allies for winter wellness.

The workshop is on a sliding scale price, pay what you can afford ticket from $17 yo $50. Bookings essential.
