Join Del from Dishes with Del for a hands-on workshop and discover how to transform garden produce, “sad” vegetables, and leftovers into absolutely delicious, seasonal dishes.

In this interactive session, you’ll cook four recipes together, pick up simple techniques to make the most of ingredients at home and even create your own jar of lacto-fermented vegetables to take home - plus learn why they’re so good for you!

Whether you’re an experienced cook or just love getting creative in the kitchen, Del’s workshop is full of practical tips, fun, and inspiration for reducing food waste while making tasty meals. Bring a knife, a jar for your ferment, and any extra vegetables or fruit from your garden or kitchen, and get ready to roll up your sleeves for a hands-on, flavour-packed experience.

What to Bring:

  • A knife you're comfortable using.

  • A clean 500 to 700ml jar with a lid.

  • Something sad/abundant from your garden or kitchen to lacto ferment: fruit or veg either is fine (around 150g worth of the item, this is roughly 1 medium apple. An apron (optional).

  • A notebook (optional).
