Ewan Mackie

Ewan Mackie is Treble Cone Ski Area Manager and RealNZ Conservation & Sustainability Manager. Ewan has worked in the ski/tourism industry for over 20 years and has a passion for the environment.

He oversees numerous trapping, planting and threatened species projects in Wānaka, Queenstown, Fiordland and Rakiura. He chairs the Ski Areas Association of New Zealand (SAANZ) sustainability committee and represents RealNZ on various regional and national panels and initiatives.

Ewan will be speaking in at the Welcome by RealNZ session during the Food Resilience Day tour at Wao Summit 2026.

Ewan also facilitated the Nature Based Solutions in Business with Real NZ session during the Better Business Day at Wao Summit 2025.
