Hayley Anderson

Hayley is a seasoned health and disability leader. Making connections across communities, ensuring we have more services closer to home while supporting the wellbeing and effectiveness of health professionals are her superpowers. Since arriving back in Central Otago she has been instrumental in the establishment of the Dunstan Hospital Foundation Charitable Trust and the Wānaka Overnight Acute health service.

With extensive governance experience across the health sector, she has chaired the Board of Cranford Hospice, was a member of the Hawkes Bay PHO Board and an elected member of the Hawke's Bay District Health Board. Hayley has a wealth of experience in leading organisations through complex change across many areas of health including acute, ambulatory, community, primary and hospice care. Returning to Central Otago to lead Central Otago Health Services Limited has been the highlight of her career. A graduate of the Global Women Breakthrough Leaders Programme, she is known for leading with authenticity, empathy with a strong commitment to developing wahine into leadership roles.
