Event Details: Equity at the Heart: Shaping a Future for All

As we look toward a thriving and regenerative future in 2125, one question sits at the core: how do we ensure that future is fair, inclusive, and just for everyone? This session explores the vital role of equity in shaping long-term sustainability. We’ll examine what it means to design systems that not only honour intergenerational responsibility, leaving behind a liveable planet for future generations, but also ensure that the people who are here now are not left behind.

From the rising cost of living to the unequal impacts of climate change, the choices we make today must consider those most affected. Together, we’ll unpack shifting demographics, social and economic disparities, and the need for shared decision-making. This conversation brings diverse voices together to ask: How do we build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive?

What you can expect from this session:

  • Explore how equity, inclusion, and intergenerational justice are essential to a regenerative future.

  • Hear from diverse voices on the impacts of climate change, rising living costs, and social disparity.

  • Discover how shared decision-making can create systems where no one is left behind.

Join us for bold ideas, shared momentum, and enjoy food and refreshments as part of this Green Drinks Kōrero.
