Bee the Change is offering small group beehive tours at their apiary on Whitechapel Road, Arrow Junction. Led by passionate and qualified local beekeepers, this one-hour experience offers a fascinating look inside the world of honey bees and the vital role they play in our ecosystems.
Participants will suit up in full protective beekeeping gear and get up close to a working hive while learning about bee behaviour, pollination, honey production, and the importance of healthy bee populations.
An engaging and memorable educational experience for adults and children alike.
Bee the Change is a Queenstown initiative focused on supporting healthy bee populations, environmental education, and pollination projects. It was founded by qualified apiarist Neal McAloon, who combines beekeeping with outdoor education and environmental stewardship.
