Homemade Wild Greens Pesto & Cold Flu Vinegar

  • Rippon Hall 246 Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road Wānaka, Otago Region, 9382 New Zealand (map)

Join Sarah Millwater from CO REAP for a hands-on 1.5 hour workshop exploring the flavours and healing power of local wild herbs. Together you will make a vibrant wild herb and greens pesto and a traditional cold and flu vinegar, a simple, affordable remedy to keep in your pantry.

Sarah will guide you through both recipes, sharing practical preparation skills and introductory wild foraging knowledge. You will learn how to safely identify common edible herbs and weeds, how to prep and blend them, and how to recreate both recipes at home. This beginner friendly session is relaxed, collaborative, and designed to be fun, tasty, and educational. All ingredients are provided, and you will take home your own wild pesto and wellness vinegar.

Participants are encouraged to bring two leakproof containers of 500ml or larger (gherkin jars work well), along with a wooden chopping board and a sharp knife.

What to Bring:

  • Bring two 500ml leakproof containers

  • A chopping board

  • A sharp knife

Tickets: $15
