The Harvest Table: Potluck & Ceilidh

  • Rippon Hall 246 Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road Wānaka, Otago Region, 9382 New Zealand (map)

This is our big Harvest Celebration and everyone is invited.

Join us at the beautiful Rippon Hall on Saturday 14 March from 5.30pm for an evening of live folk music, a massive community potluck and a high energy ceilidh to finish the night. One ticket gives you access to the whole celebration.

Arrive to the warm sounds of live band Devil’s Nook, grab a drink from the Rippon bar and reconnect with friends, neighbours, growers and producers from across the region.

Then we gather at long tables for a shared feast. Bring a home made dish to share and take your seat at the table as we gather 100 people to celebrate the season’s abundance. This is a chance to honour the harvest and the people behind our local food.

After dinner, Maura Wilson will have everyone on their feet for a lively ceilidh. No experience needed. She will guide the dances so you can simply join in and enjoy.

Welcoming. Family friendly. A true community celebration of the harvest.

What to Bring: Please bring a dish to share. Make enough to feed your party plus one or two extra. Your dish should be ready to serve with any necessary serving utensils.

We will provide plates, cutlery, and a beautifully set table so everyone can enjoy the meal together. In addition, you are welcome to bring non-alcoholic home-made drinks, but alcoholic drinks must be purchased from the Rippon bar (card only).

Tickets: $25 - All proceeds support the Southern Lakes Kai Collective and our local food system.

One ticket gives access to the whole evening - under 18 come free but must still register.
