Greg Bodeker is a climate scientist with over 130 papers published in atmospheric and climate science.
He has held international leadership positions in climate science, including for the World Climate Research Programme and the Global Climate Observing System. In addition to being the director of Bodeker Scientific Ltd, he is also the co-founder of Red Sky AI, and is the director of Kentron. Since 2009 Greg has been an adjunct professor at the New Zealand Climate Change Research Institute, in the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, at Victoria University of Wellington.
So it will be no surprise that Greg has a passion for seeing innovation being used to transition New Zealand’s economy to a long-term sustainable model. And because he’s been thinking about this for a while, he has an idea or two!
