Delia Bellaby

Delia is the current Chair of the Earth Building Association of NZ, EBANZ, and believes that natural building techniques have the power to transform the current building industry within a sustainable circular economy.

A NZ registered Architect, Delia has worked both here in New Zealand and overseas across a broad range of projects, from master-planning to high-end housing. Establishing her own practice, Design & Make Architects, in 2011 her work has increasingly become focused on sustainable building practices, with natural building techniques her passion.

Delia is also a lecturer at the Otago Polytechnic Architecture School and is passionate about educating, and being inspired by, the next generation of designers and Architects. 

Delia will be facilitating the Natural & Regenerative Materials Workshop during the Better Building Day at Wao Summit 2025.
