Emma Brockie

Emma is the Sustainability Advisor at Queenstown Lakes District Council, leading the implementation and engagement of community focussed actions in QLDC’s Waste Management and Minimisation Plan.

Emma partners closely with local not-for-profits, social enterprises, businesses and individuals to promote and support waste minimisation practices, drive behaviour change initiatives and foster meaningful engagement toward a circular economy and zero waste district. 

Emma will be speaking at the Better Building Brekkie at Queenstown Airport on Friday 31 October during the Wao Summit 2025.
