Dr. Denise Quinlan
Dr. Denise Quinlan is the Founder of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing & Resilience (NZIWR), Associate Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI), and a published academic researcher.
She lectures on leadership for workplace wellbeing and the future of work and has taught strengths-based team development to senior managers at leading European Business School. Co-author of the Educators’ Guide to Whole-school Wellbeing, she has worked with schools throughout NZ and around the world. Denise’s work is dedicated to preventing burnout, protecting wellbeing and enabling sustainability for people, performance, and planet. She shares practical tools and strategies you can implement immediately to make change.
Denise will facilitate the Designing Hopeful Futures Workshop and co-facilitate the From Vision to Action workshop at the Better Business Dayat Wao Summit 2026.
