Jose brings water chemistry expertise and a passion for resilient communities, connecting people and ideas at WAI Wānaka to protect our lakes and streams.

Jose has an absolute passion for the people and resilience of the Upper Clutha.

With a background in water chemistry within the pulp and paper and beverages industries, Jose combines technical understanding with aspirational vision for nature based urban spaces in the future.

Her role with WAI Wānaka, is all about connecting the right people and ideas to create the most impactful outcomes for the lakes and streams that sustain us. 

Jose will be facilitating the Stormwater Runoff - From Site to Stream workshop during the Better Building Day at Wao Summit 2025.
