Becoming Future Makers

  • Rippon Hall 246 Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road Wānaka, Otago Region, 9382 New Zealand (map)

Surrounded by the visions of our young people, explore the legacy you want to leave and develop practical intentions for the future you will help create.

What kind of ancestor do you want to be?

Surrounded by artwork created by young people imagining the future they hope to inherit, this interactive workshop invites you to pause, reflect and consider the role you can play in shaping what comes next.

Building on the conversations from Day One and the hopeful futures explored with Denise Quinlan, this session moves from inspiration to intention. Together, we will explore the choices we make today, the values that guide them, and the actions that can help ensure future generations have options, opportunities and a thriving world in which to live.

Through a systems design workshop and practical strategy setting, you'll develop your own commitments for the future and consider how your business, organisation or personal leadership can contribute to long term resilience.

This is an opportunity to think beyond immediate challenges, connect with the aspirations of the next generation and leave with a clearer sense of purpose and the practical steps to begin creating the future you want your descendants to inherit.
