Actor and filmmaker Rachel Ward turns the camera on her own cattle farm in New South Wales as she confronts the environmental impact of conventional agriculture. Spurred by drought, bushfires and the birth of her first grandchild, Rachel begins exploring regenerative farming and what it might mean for the future of her land. With the help of neighbours and experts, she experiments with restoring soil, improving biodiversity and changing long established farming practices. Personal, warm and refreshingly candid, Rachel’s Farm captures both the challenges and possibilities of changing the way we produce food, offering an optimistic exploration of farming in partnership with nature.
