Gary Hough
Gary Hough is the local branch manager for the food rescue charity KiwiHarvest.
They rescue excess food from local supermarkets, cafes and producers across Wanaka, Queenstown, Cromwell and Alexandra and redistribute that food to local charities helping locals tackling food insecurity. Their small team rescued a record over 200,000 kilos of excess food last year equating to nearly 450,000 meal equivalents for their 17 charity partners.
