Mark Sinclair

Mark Sinclair is a professional facilitator and mediator based in Wānaka, working with clients throughout New Zealand to help them resolve disputes. He continues to lead the team at yBC.tv, a strategic communications business with clients in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and Europe.

Over the past 20 years, Mark has interviewed hundreds of business leaders, sports people, academics, commentators, celebrities and adventurers. He is publisher of multiple podcasts including Prof. James Higham’s “Checking In” podcast focussing on sustainable tourism, his own “Moving Beyond Dispute” mediation podcast and “yBC extraordinary” focussing on people taking on big challenges and making a difference. He is also host and publisher of the Wao Podcast, with the next season launching shortly after this year’s summit. 

Mark is an Associate Member of the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ), a Professional Member of the Resolution Institute NZ and a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists. He grew up in Wānaka, returning with his young family in 2017. He is currently Presiding Member (Chair) of Te Kura O Tititea Mount Aspiring College and supports a number of Upper Clutha and Central Otago community groups.
