Prof. Terri-Ann Berry
Dr Terri-Ann Berry (FRSC, MSc, CChem, CEnv) is Co-Director of the Environmental Innovation Centre and Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering in the School of Future Environments at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
She is an environmental engineer with significant expertise in environmental chemistry, wastewater treatment, waste management and hazardous minerals. Her key research interests include sustainable waste management across a variety of sectors, including Construction and Demolition, Aged Care and Fashion industries. Terri-Ann champions practical industry solutions to reduce, reuse and recycle materials to increase resource efficiency and reduce waste. She is an advocate for better understanding and safer management of asbestos. In 2021, she co-founded the Mesothelioma Support and Asbestos Awareness Trust, a non-for-profit charity, of which she is current Chair.
