We’ll hear from the Queenstown airport on some sustainability plans they have moving forward and from QLDC on what’s happening throughout the district in terms of reducing construction waste.

• Queenstown Airport’s Head of Infrastructure Delivery, Todd Grace, will discuss the launch of the Airport’s Sustainable Construction Guideline and a bit more about the scope of capital works they have in the pipeline.

• Emma Brockie (QLDC Sustainability Advisor) will also briefly discuss the district’s focus on preventing and reducing construction waste and the actions identified to support this, as set out in QLDC's Waste Management and Minimisation Plan 2025-2031.
